North Central College just introduced a new Teacher Leader master’s degree program in education, and also state endorsement for educators.
The new Teacher Leader degree is made for the teacher who has a professional education license and is interested in getting more leadership training and more professional responsibilities. Teachers from districts and schools who were partners with the college can enroll in the first 3 classes of the new Teacher Leader degree program at a 50% lower rate. North Central College has formed formal partnerships with five districts, six high schools, eight middle schools and also nine elementary schools.
The IL State Board of Education approved the new, no GRE Teacher Leader program at North Central College, as well as the endorsement program as a part of the university’s Graduate Education program.
