New Online MBA Offered by Southern University Baton Rouge and Education Online Services Corporation

Southern University Baton Rouge (SUBR) and the Education Online Services Corporation recently announced that they are launching a new MBA program that will be offered only online.

The new online Master of Business Administration degree, with no GRE or GMAT required, will be provided by the staff and resources of Southern University Baton Rouge, which is accredited by the AACSB and SACS.

The new MBA program being offered by Southern University, which is one of several new online MBAs being offered this year, may be completed in 12 to 24 months, and will offer new students the chance to focus on some of the most popular business areas, including:

  • Accounting

  • Finance

  • International business

  • Entrepreneurship

In the accredited MBA program, students will gain the knowledge and the expertise that they need to become leaders based upon strong ethics, social responsibility and technology, and also enhanced management abilities and skills. The chairman of Education Online Services, Ezell Brown, stated recently that the new MBA program prepares new business students to examine international and global aspects of business administration via advanced analytical and managerial processes. At the same time, it trains students in advanced management and communication skills, as well as business analysis.

Each MBA student in the program must follow a course of study that has an essential general business core, and electives that suit the needs of that student. The curriculum has 10 required courses and three electives. This MBA program does not have a thesis option, and you must finish 36 hours of classes and pass an examination to earn your MBA. If you have not completed an undergraduate business degree, you must first finish several business foundation classes to enter the program.
